Burns Night Drams with Dr Sam Simmons

Thursday 21st January 8pm

With stories from Dr. Nick Morgan, Charles Maclean, Rachel McCormack and Richard Paterson, as well as Burns Supper setpieces from Andrew Weir (Aberlour and 3rd Degree Burns), James Buntin, Ross Blainey and Simply Whisky (Simon Roser & Franchi Ferla)

Whisky occasions are on the horizon. But, this year we can’t enjoy our drams in the ways we’re used to. We have to find a way to celebrate these annual events somehow. So, just how do you bring the outdoors, in? How do we recreate the most intimate gestures only found in small gatherings of old friends?

The internet.

A good whisky elevates any gathering to an occasion, becoming the perfect social lubricant for sharing stories and creating memories. A smoky whisky, in particular, can be your own bonfire in a glass. And we can help with that.

That’s where the Fireside Sessions come in. It’s all about the joy of great whisky in a warm, welcoming setting where storytelling can thrive, regardless of whether you’re gathered around a bonfire or huddled round the light of your screen.

We hope you join us and indulge, because this is a time to celebrate the simple things, good company, tasty whisky and the memories we can create when the two are brought together.
